Why another electric bike?

• to save the world of course!
• to get rid of gas dependence and pollution
• to save energy
• to get rid of heavy cars (car weights 1 ton to move a person of 70kg)

Why cargo?

• it's a good challenge to move cargo with a bike (try at your nearest Ikea store)
• when it's solved, you can also change to non biking seats for a pedicab - rickshaw - taxi for example (or anything else like specialized glass door transporters)

What else? What to take care?

• something fun, lovable!
• not too large so it can drive in car traffic jam
• some protection in case of accident
• protection against heavy rain
• easy to maintain by everyone
• works without batteries
• 1,2,3 people can pedal
• electric motors torque must be tailored for stop and go (0-20kmh)
• but also be able to maintain maximum speed allowed with an electric bike (25 or 32kmh usually).
• batteries (SLA is harmful and weight but is cheap, NiCad NiMh or Li-ion is expensive) -
• weight of overall vehicle (should be transportable by 2 persons to climb stairs, store or move when you get a flat tire)
